Today's lecture went over presentation strategies.It discusses that we should know our topic and be confident with presenting it,have data to back up your presentation,be the link between the data and your audience,keep their attention, make an emotional connection.Types of presentations are,CD ROMS, web pages,videos, reports and oral presentations, the lecture also covered facts about what audience remember and what sources they remember better.A presentation should compose of the following: a introduction, body and a conclusions its also good to mention the negatives and positives in a summary if its applicable to your topic.Introduction should compose of something which captures your attention, your thesis, preview or overview of your presentation and a connection to the body, the body should include topics sentences,evidence, explanations and your thesis, as well as referencing.In your conclusion you should review your presentation state the point you are trying to put across and tie it back to your thesis.Things also aiding in presentation is the quality of the slides does it look professional or authentic, practice, know your topic thoroughly and keep it simple.

Today's tutorial involved us to view a website on giving presentations and discuss 5 things we learnt from it and to construct a low impact PowerPoint presentation and provide screenshots, as well as doing a resource summary.
